Autumn Birding Boating Trip on the Connecticut River!
On SATURDAY, SEPT.5 at 3 PM, (rain or shine) We will ride the Essex Steam Train to board one of the birding river boats and sail down river to Essex, where at sunset we will observe the "murmurations" of swallows as they prepare to migrate south for the river. The boats are "people-friendly," with a bar, snack bar, tables and bathrooms. The trip will be led by a professional naturalist. Bring your field glasses, warm jacket and hat. $55 per person
