TEAM

TEAM manages over a dozen programs that seek to improve the lives of economically vulnerable families. With its central office in Derby, the agency is an integral part of the regional social safety net. TEAM provides both direct service and referrals to other area agencies. A private, non-profit corporation, TEAM gives financial assistance, training, and supportive services to over 5,400 families in the region each year.

The mission of Area Congregations Together, Inc. is to provide food, shelter and support services to people in need. All of our energies are devoted to helping our clients establish a self-sufficient living situation. Silver Lake Conference Center

The Conference Center is the home of the Outdoor Ministries of the Connecticut Conference of the United Church of Christ. Numerous summer camping camping opportunities are offered for children of all ages and Silver Lake serves as a retreat center as well.

The Connecticut Conference is one of 39 regional conferences in the 1.5 million member United Church of Christ, a "united and uniting" Protestant denomination in the United States of America. Our membership descends from Congregational, Christian, Evangelical, and Reformed traditions, and dates its founding to June 25, 1957, the day the four denominations merged into one fellowship.
